Starting Your Factory Order
How Do You Start a Factory Order at Mark Dodge?
Starting a factory order takes three moves. Build the vehicle you want on the brand's official Build & Price tool, save the finished build as a PDF or copy the link, and email it to orders@markdodge.net. An Order Specialist then contacts you, verifies every selection is actually orderable, and sends you the Mark Dodge price in writing.
- No visit required to start
- Quote in writing, against MSRP
- Newest model year only
What do I do first?
Go to the Build & Price page for the brand you want and configure the vehicle: model, trim, and every option. Select the newest model year, then save the PDF, take a screenshot, or even just write a simple list of your choices and send it to orders@markdodge.net. Your Order Specialist takes it from there.
- Build it on the brand's official tool Pick the model, trim, color, packages, and every option. The tool shows you what the factory currently offers on that vehicle.
- Select the newest model year Only the newest model year can be ordered, though the build site may show several. Your Order Specialist can clarify what is actually available.
- Save it and send it Save the PDF, take a screenshot, or even just write out a simple list of your choices, and email it to orders@markdodge.net. A list works fine; you do not need to send a link.
- Your Order Specialist verifies and quotes They confirm your selections against the current factory order guide, flag anything the plant no longer offers, and send the Mark Dodge price for that exact build in writing.
How do I custom build a Ram 1500?
Open Ram's official Build & Price tool, choose the 1500, then work down the sheet: trim, cab and bed, engine, axle ratio, packages, interior, paint, and wheels. Save the finished build and send it to orders@markdodge.net. Mark Dodge verifies the configuration against the current factory order guide and quotes that exact truck in writing.
Custom building a Ram at a dealership is not the same as configuring one on a brand site. The brand tool shows you what the lineup offers; the order guide decides what the plant will actually build this cycle. Your Order Specialist reconciles the two before anything is submitted, which is the step that keeps a custom build from stalling.
The same process applies to a custom Jeep, Dodge, or Chrysler order. See what you control on the build sheet, or pick your brand's tool below.
Which Build & Price tool should I use?
Use the official Stellantis tool for the brand you are ordering. Each brand runs its own configurator, and each one feeds the same order system your Order Specialist uses to place the build. The four tools below cover everything Mark Dodge orders.
| Brand | Official build tool |
|---|---|
| Ram | ramtrucks.com/vehicle-selector.bmo.html |
| Jeep | jeep.com/vehicle-selector.bmo.html |
| Dodge | dodge.com/vehicle-selector.bmo.html |
| Chrysler | chrysler.com/vehicle-selector.bmo.html |
Prefer to skip the configurator entirely? Tell your Order Specialist what you need the vehicle to do and they will build the spec with you. The full order process is written out step by step here.
What if the brand site shows an option that is not actually available?
It happens. The consumer-facing brand sites sometimes display options or components the manufacturer no longer offers, or now offers at a different price. That is why every build is verified by a human before anything is submitted: your Order Specialist checks your selections against the current factory order guide and walks you through alternatives if something has changed.
Nothing is placed with Stellantis until you have seen the verified configuration and the written price for it. The build you send is the framework; the verified order is the commitment. The paperwork and the deposit that locks it in are covered here.
What should I have ready before the first conversation?
You need nothing but the build to start. The conversation goes faster if you know what the vehicle has to do, and if you have a few basic preferences in mind. Your top-tier needs are enough; we can walk through the finer details together.
- The job. What the vehicle has to do day to day. If you are buying for a specific towing capability, it helps to know your trailer or camper total weight and pin weight.
- Basic preferences. Cloth or leather? Bench or bucket seats? Those two answers narrow the trim levels very quickly. The same goes for bed length, cab size, and powertrain.
- Deal-breakers. The two or three options you will not compromise on. Everything else can flex if availability changes.
- Timing. If you need a vehicle sooner than a build allows, say so and we will look at in-stock inventory instead.
Starting your order, answered
Which model year can I factory order?
Only the newest model year can be ordered. The build site may show several model years, but previous years are not orderable. Your Order Specialist can clarify what is actually available, and can point you to in-stock inventory if you specifically want an outgoing model year.
Where do I send my finished build?
Email the saved PDF, a screenshot, or a simple written list of your choices to orders@markdodge.net. An Order Specialist replies to verify your selections and to send the Mark Dodge price for that exact configuration in writing. You can also start by phone or text if you would rather talk it through first.
Does sending a build commit me to anything?
No. Sending a build starts a conversation, nothing more. The commitment happens later, when you e-sign the order paperwork and place the deposit. Until then you can revise the build, compare quotes on different configurations, or walk away with no obligation.
What if I cannot find the option I want in the build tool?
Tell your Order Specialist. Some options pair only with certain trims or packages, some have been discontinued, and some are ordered as standalone line items the consumer tool does not show well. They check the current factory order guide, which is the document that decides what the plant will actually build.
Build it, save it, send it
Your build lands with a real person who checks it against what the plant will actually make, then prices it in writing.
